Description:

World Class Motorsports (WCM) Ultralite S2k
This car is a tribute to the Lotus 7. It was professionally built by the manufacturer, World Class Motors in Texas. I believe they only made 100 or so of these cars. It is a much more refined kit car than most Lotus 7 replicas out there. I also own a Locost 7 which was built by a very experienced builder but the fit and finish is not even comparable to the Ultralite.
This car has the performance and looks of a super car with reliability of Honda. It also gets more smiles/waves/thumbs ups than most exotic cars.
It is comfortable enough to be driven long distance, thanks to the gel cushion on the drivers seat and extra padding I've added for back support. Plenty of trunk space for groceries too.

(see sample picture of it installed) This can not be used with the windscreens currently installed but it can be used with the included windshield frame. You'll need to have the glass/plexiglass cut out for it. Easy job - I just didn't have the need for it and think it looks better with the Brooklands racing style screens.

Michelin Pilot Sport tires have about 1000 miles on them(practically brand new) - Recent brake pads and oil change.

If you're in the market for an Ariel Atom or any other track car of that caliber, you should definitely drive a Super Seven first. This Ultralite is not only comparable to the Atom(base model) in performance, it is more comfortable/practical as a street car and looks much better in my opinion.
I bought this car a few months ago from an older gentleman who could not drive it anymore. He said he had never tracked it since he bought it in 2005. Only used as a weekend car and mountain drives with his wife. Shamefully, the car still qualifies as never tracked other than 2 laps at Atlanta Motorsports Park I did just to take a few pictures(tracked my other 7 that day which had proper tires on)

The flames on the hood and fenders were a $4000 paint job. Although it looks amazing and gets a lot of compliments, I personally don't care for it too much. It has grown on me a little since it's subtle and very high quality but I was going to have the hood(bonnet?) and front fenders vinyl wrapped solid black before I decided to sell it.
Few small flaws:
1- The original speedometer was acting up. The needle would jump up and down randomly and would add mileage every few seconds, even when standing still. Previous owner told me it's a grounding issue. I assume the actual mileage of the car is probably closer to 5-7k but because of this issue it's gone up to a little over 10k. I had no idea how these things work so I just swapped it with a new speedometer(same brand) and changed the speed sender and that seems to have fixed it. 450 miles on the new unit (and counting). The brand is Auto Meter 4488. They also have a GPS unit (4480) which I would recommend installing if it starts acting up again. Or you can have someone who actually knows what they're doing take a look at it. The original speedometer will be included in case the problem was something else and you would want to put it back in.

2- There is a small area in the back that seems to have been scratched up and painted over(see pictures). No one notices it until I point it out to them but if you're looking for flaws you will notice it. I don't think it would cost more than a few hundred dollars to have it fixed by a shop, it just never bothered me enough to fix it.

3- There is a scratch on the passenger wind screen. It's just plexiglass, easily replaceable but not necessary.

4- Shallow scratch on the left front fender and 2 small rock chips on the nose. See picture. Not noticeable unless you look for them.

These cosmetic flaws are very minor and most people wouldn't even notice them. Unless you're extremely picky and plan on keeping it as a garage queen they really won't bother you.
