Selling my 2004 Saturn Vue in favor a newer car. Clean title in hand.
THE GOOD:- Starts, runs, drives at all speeds, idles, and stops just fine. Was driving this every day until a few days ago.- Cold A/C, warm heat- Only 2 owners -- the first was my mother- No accidents or disasters- Honda engine + transmission- Nice specs: all leather, sunroof, power windows/locks/doors/mirrors, seat(4-way), heated seats, rear wiper, rear defrost, cruise control, automatic headlights, CD player, dual airbags, ABS, tilt steering (everything still works)- Lots of storage space in the back, with rear folding seats if you need more. Also optional fold-up compartments that are really useful for keeping groceries etc from sliding all over the place (see pic)- All internal lights have auto shut-off. Sounds minor, but this has saved me from a drained battery several times.- Tires should have about 20k miles left in them- AWD gives great traction for ice, dirt, gravel, etc.- Decent gas mileage for a V6 SUV (17/23)- Passed emissions with no problem in early Sept 2016- Full repair/service history available- No pets have ever been in this vehicle
THE BAD:- Check engine light is on (cylinder misfires) -- total estimated repair cost I got was $964. Not noticeable when driving, but may be an issue for emissions. I have a print-out of the diagnostic available.- Some lovely person carved an A into the driver's side door (see pic). Fairly shallow scratch, but still there.- Steering wheel sometimes squeaks when turning -- I suspect it needs fluid, haven't had it looked at. Does not affect driving.- The rear door doesn't stay up when it's cold outside. Minor, but annoying.- Keyless entry remote currently not working. May only need batteries.- This car has carried toddlers and preschoolers for a few years. I cleaned it pretty thoroughly, but I can't call it spotless.
