I bought this 2005 Jaguar XKR at an auto auction with a rebuildable title. The reason why the insurance company gave it that designation was because the car had gone over a speed bump and hit the passenger side of the front bumper which became detached. This tripped the inertia switch so the car will not start. I bought the car, reset the inertia switch, reattached the front bumper and it was good to go. I took the car to the local Florida DMV and had the car inspected and the car passed the inspection so a rebuilt title was issued. The car runs and drives like a dream. I have owned several XKRs and this one is the best I have ever driven. The car does have a scratch on the rear passenger quarter panel and the rear bumper was resprayed with some matte color. Also while at the auction yard some thieves tried to pry open the trunk see the picture of the back and it shows the trunk is a little dented. Other than that is a great car. The top works without a glitch. I honestly want to keep the car but I need the money to pay my property taxes here in Florida so I have to let it go. You will love this XKR and since is not a garage queen you can drive it everywhere without a care in the world that someone will dent it. That's what I have done and I had a lot of fun with it.
Picture # 11 shows the front bumper detached at the auction lot, and Picture # 12 shows the front bumper after it was reattached to the fender. Only a small scratch remains in the fender and the bumper has some scratches underneath.
