Selling my 2005 Lotus Elise. This has been a great car but its time to pass it on as I don't drive it enough and I want to get a truck.
The car is in excellent condition.
Title is clean. Pink slip in hand and in my name.
Comes with car cover, hard top, soft top.
These cars are reliable and fun to drive. On my last road trip I averaged 30+ mpg.
When I purchased the car about 2 years ago I had it inspected for frame damage, mechanical issues, cam condition, and got an ECD dump of engine history.No issues found on inspection.
Engine history shows that the car has been babied by previous owners and not abused (photo included). To highlight a few points: -- less than a minute above 65% throttle position -- only 11 seconds above 5500 RPM -- no time above 150 KMH (93 MPH)
I have done a bit of spirited canyon driving but never taken it to a track.This car may have a few more miles than some other lotuses but its been well taken care of and has lots of life left.
Mostly stock except:HID headlights and brights.Fujita cold air intake and high efficiency air filter.Alpine UTE-62BT head unit.
New front break pads and rotors. EBC GD1190 3GD Series Dimpled and Slotted Sport Rotor and EBC Red Stuff break pad.Replaced floor mats with Lloyd Mats Classic Loop Floor Mat. I have the originals but they are warn around the hold downs.
Tires are Potenza RE760 Sport with about 85% tread remaining.
Oil line recall and ecu update completed.
