Thank you for taking the time to look at my 2005 Lotus Elise. I am the 3rd owner of this unique and very special car. The first owner purchased it brand new out West in Washington state and then traded it to Park Place LTD. All recall work was done by the first owner. The second owner purchased it from Park Place LTD back in October of 2014. The PO flew out to Washington State and drove the car all the way back to Pennsylvania putting on nearly 7, 000 miles. Keep in mind that out of the mere 16, 700 miles that this car has, 7, 000 of them were a cross country trip. My ownership experience has been nothing but blissful with this car. Never any issues, turns heads everywhere and possibly the most visceral driving experience that you can have with a production car. I like to think it is the perfect “daily” Elise as it is fully loaded and it currently has all season tires mounted. Couple that with the bluetooth, great A/C and heat and it can be used as an everyday car. Overall the condition is excellent, near showroom. All panels and paint are straight with no blemishes except for minor scuffs on the lower sideskirts. The factory starshield has held up very well and there is no yellowing of the film. The headlights are in great shape considering the problematic “melting” of the lens which this car does not have. The car is truly clean in and out as it has always been babied. It is impossible to know the complete history of any car but if I had to bet my bottom dollar I would guess that it was never tracked or driven in any amount of anger. The PO was an air traffic controller that drove it to and from work, I did the same. I have records on the car but there is not much to cover, as the car only has 16, 700 miles. Recent service includes a oil change and brake fluid flush done at 15, 000 miles when I purchased the car back in March. The car does have a clean CT title but if you pull a carfax you will see that there is an accident recorded a few years back when the PO hit a parking curb with the front end and unfortunately, had to replace the entire front clam. The car has a OEM Lotus replacement front clam and you would never know. No suspension damage during the incident, no frame damage etc just a tap is all it takes with these cars as I am sure you know. I am selling due to an eventual move to a metro area across the country so for now I will have to say goodbye. I know that this will not be my last Lotus, these cars are incredible.
