I am the second owner of this pristine R53 MINI Cooper S. I acquired it from the original owner in well-maintained stock condition with only 16, 500 miles in 10 years of ownership. The only modification the original owner made were the mahogany roof rails which he made (he is a woodworker/artist).
I’ve driven approximately 4000 miles in the last 2 years. The upgrades/modifications listed below were done by Mini mechanics as well as myself. My goal has been to have a great little autocross car that’s still fun to drive anywhere. The car was never tracked. I ran the car in autocross 10 times in 2016 but only 2 times this year. I’ve had to stop running in autocross due to severe back issues so I’ve decided to go ahead and sell her.
The car is adult driven, has always been garaged and has never seen a salted road.
