FOR SALE: 2006 Dodge Charger Police Package, 5.7 Hemi Engine, Automatic 5 Speed Transmission, PS, PB, PW, Cruise Control, Driver Controlled Traction Control System, Power Drivers Seat w/Cloth Interior but does include a Set of Front Leather/Power Drivers and Passenger Seats, Rear Leather Seat and Center Console. Vehicle history is (as I know it), was purchased by my Company from the State of Texas, in 2010, at 70000 miles. They bought it New, in 2006, equipped it as an unmarked detectives car, assigned it to Texas Rangers Division (Midland) of Texas D.P.S.. We usually do not buy cars with anything close to that high of miles but the Charger was in such pristine condition (having a New Engine/ paint work) and it ran/drove so well, not to mention, was Wickedly Fast. According to the vehicles maintenance/incident record it had received regular/routine maintenance (using synthetic lubricants). In 2008, at 32, 000 miles, the vehicle had a New Engine (warranty by Dodge) installed . It was involved in an incident (vehicle was struck by animal) and received hail/storm damage (twice). In Feb 2010, after the Ranger who drove it retired, it was taken to Austin and prepped for placement in to a Lay-out program (vehicles in Good Condition are held in reserve) instead of being immediately reissued/sold rather than reissued. After purchase, it was my Company Car (West Coast) but things slowed down it was not utilized much, spending most of its time in an underground parking facility (in Riverside Ca.). I bought a Leather Interior from a Vehicle Customizing Company (removed from a Dodge Charger with less than 10000 miles) there in California and was going to install it after, it came out of company service and into my possession. In 2016, the Charger was transferred to me and I drove it home to Oklahoma. In June 2017, a Dodge dealership address all mechanical, maintenance and recall issues. Since then, it has had less than 20 miles put on it. The paint is OK but by no means perfect but I think it looks Good. No Rust issues. The body and interior is in Good condition but do have minor dings. As you see, I never installed the other Leather Seats and console but absolutely go with the car. The Goodyear tires are very close to being New and in Good condition. There are no known mechanical problems. It runs just as Strong Today as the day I got it. Since we've had it, only I or the Equipment Manager (in California) have ever driven the car. It Truly is One of the Quickest and Fastest Cars I've Ever Owned (beating my 2013 SS Camero hands down). The thing that makes this model of car unique and more so desirable than later models is the fact that the Traction Control System can be manually disengaged simply by pushing a button. But this option was not to last long. Due to the increase of accidents involving the New vehicle (officially due to the overall power/torque) just after the first year of Police Chargers going into operation, Police Departments demanded Dodge make the Traction Control Fulltime and removing the operators availability to manually override the safety option and turning the system off. I Love the car and don't want to sell it but just doesn't get driven and my Wife doesn't get to drive it, so she is tired of looking at another toy. clear. I will work with the buyer to address delivery issues concerning the vehicle (as best I can). Delivery by trailer , is an option, available (for additional fees) to the buyer but vehicle will be paid for before any type of delivery is made. Another option is Fly in to Oklahoma City and drive home . The vehicle is for sell locally and the right is reserved to end the sale early. Thank You for looking and reading this ad.
