2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie 4x4
I will try to do my best with describing the truck.
Exterior - 9 out of 10 Paint is clean, just a few minor flaws. 2 scratches on front bumper 2 small dings on passenger side doors can barely see them unless at an angle. 1 paint chip on rear quarter right above exhaust tip.
Interior- 9 out of ten. Seats are leather in excellent shape. Driver seat is not ripped or torn just has a slight wear mark near the stitching. Everything else is in perfect condition. I recently rebuilt the entire airbox. Dodge rams are known for the Blend door problems I changed every blend door with machined aluminum high quality doors from (blend door usa) also changed the heater core and a/c evaporator oem parts. Just because i was in there and it is a job to remove. Heat and a/c work like brand new. Everything interior is functioning. even the triple gauge pod with transmission temp, exhaust temp, and boost gauge.
Wheels and tires- 9.5 out of 10. The wheels and tires have less then 1000 miles on them. They are oem take offs 2015 dodge ram laramie.($1, 500.00) I only say 9.5 out of 10 because when they were shipped 2 rims got scuffed. not to bad.
Powertrain- 5.9l Cummins, automatic trans, 10 out of 10 has 109k miles. The motor is completely. stock. I recently upgraded the steering system 100% New gear box (redhead steering gear box), New OEM power steering pump and pulley, New OEM steering linkage from pitman arm to tie rod ends and sway bar end link. It is the heavier duty steering linkage from a 2009 dodge ram 2500. If your familiar with dodges then you know about the death wobble and steering issues. Well that is all gone now. this truck rides like a Cadillac. Also installed a steering box support bar from hell bent steel.
This truck is built to last. I did not do any of the upgrades because it was broken I did it because dont cheap out on my vehicles. if it has a factory issue or default i fix it and upgrade it. I have invested alot of money in this truck in a short period of time thinking I was going to have it for many years to come. Seeing that the cummins are known for the long life. Unfortunately, things happen and I have chosen to sell it for personal reasons. I searched for a long time to find this truck in this condition. So i know whats out there. even though i will regret selling it i do not have a choice.
I have also installed new OEM fender flares from the power wagon models not because its covering rust but because I dont like mud flaps and they protect the fender lips from chipping or rusting. Another upgrade was the LINE-X bed liner with uv protection coating never to fade. and the Bak-flip folding bed cover.
Just estimating with everything upgraded probably invested $6000.00. I understand I wont get that back but just keep in mind when your bidding or thinking of buying that money you wont have to ever come out of your pocket.
Regular maintenance oil changes, fuel filter changes, air filter changes. when I bought the truck i had the transmission flushed and serviced. no issues. I only you cummins recommended oil and fleetguard oil and fuel filters.
