For sale is my tornado red 2006 vw gti with just under 92, 000 miles on it. I've had the car for the past year and a half, and put just over 20, 000 miles on it during that time. This car is exceptionally easy to drive and would make a great first car! There are only two minor modifications made to this vehicle; an awe boost gauge installed by a previous owner and a Blackforest Industries shift knob and boot that I purchased. Neither modification was cheap and each was professionally installed to preserve factory levels of finish.
Overall the bodywork is good. There are the dings and nicks that you would expect on a car of this age but the paint is in good condition. There are two dents in the rear of the car that were caused by a previous owner. The only other notable flaw is a key mark on the passenger sided. It has been professionally repaired but is still noticeable from 3-5ft away.
The interior is in excellent condition. All the leather has been well maintained, and one small tear has been professionally repaired. All the plastics are good apart from some peeling on the headlight switch ( a common problem for this generation). The sunroof works like new.
Mechanically this car is sound and there are no modifications chassis or drivetrain. Several days after I bought the car the clutch and flywheel were replaced with new oem parts at 75, 000 miles. At the same time I replaced the tires. So basically this car has a near new clutch and very new tires. Other than that nothing has gone wrong with the car and it has been pulling strong since that first week. Climate control works perfectly as do the heated seats.
