There are a few who will know what they are looking at, but for the rest of us I will explain what a milestone this model is and how rare it is to see one for sale.
All variations of the 2007-2009 Jaguar XJ (X358) saloons are very rare to begin with. They are the last of the XJs modeled after company founder Sir William Lyons' inspired 1968 Series 1 XJ6 and most aggressive in appearance of all XJ models up to that time. Production numbers were low as Ford was working out the particulars for the sale of the Jaguar company, which Ford owned for 18 years, to the current owner Tata Motors. Tata halted production of the X358 in order to redesign the XJ, giving it a similar appearance to the BMW's and Mercedes saloons.
In 2008, the flagship Super V8 variation of the XJ was even more unique in that it was only available pre-ordered with a limited production of only 300 worldwide, and despite a whopping price tag of over $95, 000, Jaguar had no problem selling all of them sight unseen. Of the 300 units produced only 118 were imported into North America.
The Super V8 is special. It has a longer wheel base than the standard XJ's at 124.4 inches making it the longest Jaguar ever produced. The added length was dedicated to the rear seating area making an already comfortable rear seating area limousine like. XJ options became standard on the XJ Super V8 and there are plenty of them.
You might think the massive size of this saloon with all the bells and whistles would make it a sluggish boring car to drive. However, featuring an all-aluminum body, this seemingly massive car weighs a mere 4006 lbs. And the Super in Super V8 denotes the supercharged and intercooled 4.2-liter DOHC 32-valve aluminum engine that puts out 400 horsepower which is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox propelling this saloon from 0-60 in just 5 seconds!!! Top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph with a theoretical top speed of 172 mph and a 1/4 mile time of 13.3 seconds.

Specifics:
Cosmetically this car is in excellent condition considering it has 115, 000 miles on it. The front bumper has road rash while the rear bumper has minor clear-coat wear. There are minor chips on some of the panels from normal driving but are difficult to detect. I was quoted $600 to respray the bumpers with a slight increase to address any chips on other panels.
There is a slight dent, about the size of a dime, above the fuel door where it looks as if someone may have hit it with the fuel nozzle. That may be able to be lifted with dry ice.
The interior is extremely well taken care of with the only significant wear being noticeable on the driver side floor mat.

Known issues
Parkbrake fault light comes on during long drives. Resets after ignition cycle
Front bushings due for replacement. Occasional miner shimmer at times. New bushings already purchased. Can drive as is.
May be ready for exhaust pipe. Car quiet during normal use but under heavy acceleration exhaust louder than what was normal.
