Hello all. I bought this 9-7x Aero in August to replace one that I sold in May of 2019. It came from a Facebook Auto dealer in Ohio. I had it shipped, and have all the prior Car Fax information on it.
Overall, the SUV is in good shape. There are various small scratches, and one or two small dents. The hood and tailgate have some rust, and so does the driver side door along the bottom. It was purchased as a project and needed some work. Thus far, I've replaced the oil pressure sensor, the power steering cooler, battery, ball joints, brakes, rotors, tires, windshield, plugs, wires, trans filter, all fluids, various gaskets, and more. The undercarriage was previously undercoated, and the rear air suspension was swapped out for springs.
It was purchased on FB for $4, 000, and I have receipts, and all paperwork and photos to document repairs. I'm into it for over $7, 000 and want it pass it on to a good home.Shortly after buying it, I purchased another two of the same car, and cannot justify having three.
Regarding drivability, it has an ABS light on, and it has an engine light, requesting a replacement Knock sensor. I cleared the ABS code a few times, and it comes back with acceleration. *** I paid to have this diagnosed, and it has been confirmed it needs a new ABS pump. They cost about $100 used on this site. *** Aside from this, it could use a bath, detail, and a little more love to make it a great SUV. Its 1 of 500, and the only other item I know it will need is the windshield resealed. I bought one and had a local yard come out to install, but they did a less than perfect job. To remedy this, I sealed the upper portion with a piece of weather seal I have a quote to get it professionally resealed for $250.
I drove it to my mechanic about 40 miles away, and it drove superbly well. The cruise control and heated seat worked well, the heat and defrost checked, and all wipers were okay. It averaged 17.0 mpg, the steering was extremely tight, and it rode well. I also purchased an OEM navigation radio that will be included with the sale. I bought it on here, and wanted to replace the aftermarket radio with an OEM unit. The radio will have to be un-theftlocked, and the aftermarket radio and housing are included with the sale. The motor and trans are strong, and the exhaust really sounds great with the LS2.
