This 2008 Tesla Roadster is a two owner vehicle, used as my daily driver for several years. It has 69, 000 miles and the batteries now show about a 155 mile range.
It runs great and has been serviced regularly. 0-60 in about 4 seconds and instant torque make this a car a blast to drive.
I don’t believe the car has left California, probably not even Silicon valley in its 10 years of service.It was built in 2009, despite being a 2008 model. The VIN # shows it was number 253 of about 2000 total produced until the deal with Lotus expired.
The targa is great for open air driving. Putting on and taking off the cloth top is a breeze. There is also a carbon fiber removable hard top (a $5000 option) with padded storage bag.
