This C30 has the Geartronic shifter, similar to Porsche's Tiptronic. It's an automatic, but the Geartronic option allows for manual as well as well. The inline 5-cylinder turbo engine is very responsive with virtually no turbo lag. 0 to 60 mph in 6.6 seconds while providing 29 MPG highway and 19 city.
The Volvo C30 had 26, 484 miles when I took ownership (currently about 65, 800) and I have used full synthetic Castrol oil and premium Wix oil filters with each oil change. Every tank of gas included 3 ounces of Lucas fuel treatment for lubrication and maximum efficiency. These Volvo's are very solidly built cars and the C30 is surprisingly sporty, fast, and FUN. As as daily driver, it is very smooth but is a rocket when you step on the gas.
This has been my absolute favorite car to drive and look at every day. The waterfall center console is eye catching and interior is typical clean Swedish design. The custom fit Kagu all weather rubber floor mats are a handsome and easy to clean addition. Bosch Platinum battery replaced 2018 and K&N high performance air filter is used under the hood. AUX connector for connecting iPhone/MP3 player (CD player I do not use due to ejecting issue). | “Well kept. Shiny paint, mat black plastic, no major dings or scratches. Interior is clean and free from stains. Exterior is in great condition. Having recently compound cleaning, polishing, and waxing the car, I would have to point out any minor flaws that most people would never find. Interior is clean with with very little wear. The only places with noticeable wear are items used often such as the parking brake lever, door closing handle, & driver seat patch. Dash and doors are free from any sun damage and interior is clean.
