I'm selling this for my dad at no reserve per his instructions. $300 non refundable deposit due within 24 hours of auction close via Paypal. Balance due within 7 days in cash at time of pickup. Car is located in Englewood, FL at my parents residence. This is his description:
This is a 2010 Mini Cooper S being sold with no reserve to the highest bidder. The car is not
presently running but was working fine before failing to start. My wife drove to the grocery store,
parked and the car would not start. It would turn over OK but would not fire up. It was early
March last year, just before the pandemic shutdown so it was towed to the house and left to sit
until just before Christmas when it was taken to a local repair shop. They told me that they
thought the fuel injectors were not working which was probably due to a computer malfunction.
they said that they could not guarantee a new computer would fix the problem. They needed
special software that only a Mini dealership had. The nearest Mini repair facility is over 50 miles
away, hence this auction.
The Mini was a good car that run and drove good. It has done64, 708 miles, the tires are almost
new and the bodywork is in good shape. There were a few minor problems like the antenna was
knocked off in the car wash (which I have), the hatch door latch did not work (could open with
key fob), the clock could not be set and some of the other non-essential functions did not work
but it was a good car to drive. We have had the car over 3 years. I believe that if you have the
knowledge to fix a Mini this would be a good buy at a low price. The buyer would need to tow the
car away.
