Price: US $65,500.00
2010 Roadster Sport 2.0 in pristine condition; a beautiful piece of automotive history and the most extraordinary sports car of the 21st century. This is the model that launched Tesla's electric car revolution. Less than 2500 Roadsters were built, and far fewer were the 2.0 Sport model. This is Roadster #853, originally purchased by a well-known music producer (the purchaser will receive a complete history of the car, including a copy of a NY Times article mentioning it).
The Roadster Sport launches from 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds with face-melting torque and no gear changes. It handles like a Lotus Elise track car, with which the Roadsters share several core components. The Sport model is distinguished from the base Roadster by an adjustable suspension, a hand-wound motor, and a controller system tuned for higher discharge in burst acceleration.
This vehicle also includes many premium upgrades and accessories, including:
-Body-color carbon fiber hard top with Tesla storage case -Tesla car cover ($350)
-Executive leather package
-Heated seats -Paint armor-Premium sound system with subwoofer and JL speakers
-Upgraded LED headlights and running lights
-J1772 CAN adapter for charging at public charging stations ($500)
-Travel charger for regular wall socket charging / universal adapter
-High-amperage wall mounted fast charger ($2500, if you can find one)
-OVMS app-based vehicle monitoring and control system
-iPhone Lightning adapter
It has new rear tires with 1000 miles on them, and had its recommended annual service performed by the SLC Tesla service center in March 2017.
Known issues:-Interior and exterior in excellent condition. -Leather steering wheel shows normal wear, and some surface marks are visible on the Paint Armor if you look for them... but none that I can see have marred the paint. -Note in photo #10 a small spot where the paint armor has bubbled up. -Two small repairs to the leather on the passenger seat are visible in the last photo. -TPMS warnings appear occasionally, and TPM sensors will need to be replaced eventually if the alert at startup bothers you. The sensors are around $20-50, depending where you get them.
CAC reading is 149.32. Range on Standard charge is 176-179 miles, depending on outside temp. I expect it would get 200+ on the Range charging setting, but I have never done this because it's hard on the battery unless it's discharged immediately.
This car sold for over $150k new, and is highly collectible as the vehicle that proved to the world that high-range, high performance electric vehicles were viable. It draws a crowd like nothing I've ever owned. If you find a better deal on a Sport 2.0 with under 10k miles + the fast charger and everything else I’m including, TAKE IT!
Questions from serious bidders are welcome. Please no dealers, agents, or trade offers.
