I bought this moped after my license became out of date. When I was younger you didn't need a license or insurance to get plates for the moped. I think the government realized how much money they could get off of John Q Public. Especially after that home stead bill was passed so they needed to get some money some where. They also charged us home owners with a fire tax, which is like a 125.00 dollars a year.
