This car has provided dependable, safe service and is competent under all road conditions I have encountered (commonly rain, uncommonly snow, and rarely, black ice); highly enjoyable and comfortable to drive, and I have been very appreciative of the safety features that are a hallmark of Volvo.
This vehicle has never been in any accidents and has never required repair other than replacement of back-up camera wiring (see below); there are no repairs known, due, or awaiting -- none. The car has had all manufacturer recommended service appointments (paperwork to transfer to new owner); synthetic oil changes only; always garaged. The car has been very carefully and thoroughly cared for throughout ownership term. There are no rattles or loose parts when driving under urban or highway conditions.
This is a one-owner vehicle; owned by a professional person; the vehicle is for sale due to an extended assignment of overseas work, starting in June.
Extended warranty available, transferrable to the purchaser; the warranty is comprehensive, available for review and expires at 157K miles. The new owner will have about 50K miles of coverage; $100 deductible per claim.
Repairs outside of routine maintenance: back-up camera wiring replaced at about 70, 000 miles, brake rotors replaced; tires replace, wipers replace.
There have rarely been passengers in the car as it was used mostly for distance commuting, no smoking ever, no pets ever, and no smoking pets of any kind!
Very minor, accumulated road-wear: mild road rash on wheels, two microscopic parking lot dings on rear trunk near the rear license plate -- parking lot related. I imagine someone let a cart slip into the car, but never knew the exact origin. The front windscreen has a few very small rock chips. The passenger-side door handles work electronically to the key fob, but not to the open-on-touch function.
The current tires were put on about 25, 000 miles ago and should give another 20-25, 000 miles service.
Favorite things: There is a driver button that drops the rear seat headrests for visibility; accelerates with vigor (~330 hp w turbo) if needed for passing or in emergency situations, very capable handling; pretty car;
Unfavorite things: The car did not originally come with spare tire. The factory supplied tire inflation kit was ineffective. I purchased the spare kit at $650.00 at around 45, 000 miles.
