Mini Cooper S PACEMAN ALL4 Hatchback 2-Door (2013)
for sale
Price: US $9,999.00
Price: US $9,999.00
This auction is for a used 2013 Mini Cooper Paceman
in its original black color exterior and black interior. The car is located in
Calexico, CA (122 miles East of San Diego). The car has only 25, 000 miles with a
Salvage Tile.
Mini Cooper Paceman 2013
Propelled by the two
1.6-liter turbos (181 horsepower, 177 lb-ft), the Cooper S Paceman ALL4 (as in
four-wheel drive) required 6.2 seconds to reach 60 mph, covered the quarter-mile
in 15.0 seconds at 95 mph, and consumed 16.7 seconds reaching 100 mph.The Paceman has the moves
and feel that help set Minis apart from the herd. It’s fun-to-drive
factor—limited body motions; quick, tactile steering; a gratifying sense of
connection with the car—is undeniably present.
The stiff springs, the
aggressive damping, the hard bushings, and the low-profile run-flat tires
(Pirelli P Zero 225/40-19s) provide respectable grip (0.86 g) and okay braking
(169 feet from 70 to 0 mph), but at the expense of ride quality that doesn’t
take much uneven pavement to become seriously abrupt.
EPA fuel-economy ratings are
at 23 mpg city and 30 highway.
Size Matters
There’s room for a pair of adults to
reside comfortably in the rear seats. The Paceman offers substantially more
cargo room, with 11.7 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 38.1 cubic feet with
the rear seats folded flat. So if utility is an issue, the Paceman delivers.
The Paceman is one of just two Minis to
offer the brand’s ALL4 all-wheel-drive system (the Countryman is the other).
If style tops the list of priorities, then the Paceman has a definite edge in visual cool. The three-door preserves
the proportions, rising beltline, and sloping roof of the hardtop on a bigger
scale, with its own interpretation of the Mini grille and a going-away view
dominated by a set of oversize round taillights.
The Inside Story
Mini interior designers
work at preserving a retro flavor while thumbing their noses at contemporary
convention. It’s an approach that can take some acclimation for Mini newcomers.
The tachometer straddles the steering column, and the speedometer dominates the
center of the dashboard, as in the original Minis of the mid-20th century, except that the speedo has expanded to the size of a dinner plate. This doesn’t
make it any easier to read at a glance, as the speed indicator rides around the
gauge’s circumference.
The Paceman’s seats are supportive, materials are high quality, and one change from previous practice—a welcome
one—is the relocation of the power window switches from the center stack to the
door handles. Retro is cool, but so is functionality.
Paceman Pricing
The Paceman’s expanded
dimensions, increased utility, and sportier styling (versus the Countryman’s)
add up to an expanded price tag that makes it the most expensive of all Minis.
The base price of our Paceman S, including all-wheel drive, was $29, 200.
The Paceman is an ultra-niche vehicle offered by a
niche-vehicle brand. It might not resonate with Mini purists, but it has its
virtues and is consistent with the brand’s basic raison d’être: transportation
with a generous helping of iconoclastic fun.
Intercooler Kit
This intercooler is ideal for high horsepower and serious
racetrack/motorsport applications. It features ~220% larger frontal area
and ~280% greater volume than the factory OEM charge air intercooler. Weighing
in at only 11 lbs (5 Kg) this is a must have for any serious track competitor
or street hunter.
Intercoolers are used to reduce the heat from the compressed air as it
transfers from the turbocharger into the engine's induction system. By passing
the compressed and heated induction charge through an air-to-air heat exchanger
(intercooler) reduces the charge temperature. Lower temperatures creates a
higher density of air/fuel molecules, which allows more air/fuel mixture into
the same amount of space. More air and more fuel means one thing. .MORE
HORSEPOWER and torque.
The intercooler is highly
regarded in the German performance car aftermarket for brands like Audi, BMW, Porsche and VW. This intercooler provides the highest flow with the lowest
pressure drop, furnace brazed bar and plate core design all skillfully welded
together to create a fantastic product.
Extra Large Aluminum
Radiator
Radiator Style: Crossflow
Overall Width (in): 26.000
in.
Overall Height (in): 20.200 in.
Overall Thickness (in): 2.200 in.
Row Quantity: Dual-row
The advantages of the aluminum radiator mainly are:
1. It is of good heat dissipation. It obviously
saves material and energy. In the same room, if you use heating units of the
same standard to produce the same effect, the number of aluminum heating units is
less than that of steel heating units.
2. Aluminum has good performance of oxidation
corrosion resistance. So it doesn’t need any additives. Once it meets the
oxygen in the air, a layer of oxidation film is made, which is so tough, tensile and compact that it prevents further corrosion of the material.
Finally, please look at the pictures and ask me any
questions before you bid. The car is offer as is, where is and there is
absolutely no warranties of any kind so please bid accordingly.
