RALLIART: Almost the performance of an Evo, but for a lower price.
Mechanically very similar to Mitsubishi Evolution, performance almost as fast. Same amazing all-wheel drive transmission. Manufacturer's specification is here.
This beautiful 2013 Ralliart has been driven fast, but not hard! Never more than 5500 rpm, never raced, never stored outside Arizona, never driven outside Arizona/Nevada/Califonia, no accidents, clean title, never abused.
This is a STOCK Ralliart. No modifications.
I bought it new and am the sole owner. No one aged under 50 has driven this car!
Serviced only by Mitsubishi dealers (except for replacement of a plastic underbody panel that I did myself, when the previous one became loose). Always synthetic oil, usually every 3, 000 miles. Air filter replaced frequently because I live in a high-desert area where there is some dust.
Interior is immaculate. No one has smoked a cigarette (or any other substance) in this car.
Although classified as a rally car, this has not been driven offroad, except for half a mile of well-graded county-maintained dirt road outside my house.
I love this car! But, I'm getting too old for it. And although it cruises very happily (and I think, safely) at 110 on I-40 across the Mojave desert, sooner or later my luck has to run out, even with my Valentine One. So--I had my fun, and with much regret I am looking for a buyer who will care for it as much as I have.
Extremely stable, excellent handling, a joy on mountain roads. Overtake anything by flipping the shifter from 6 to 5 at 70 mph. Turbo cuts in around 2500 to 3000 rpm, and you GO. Effortless!
At the same time, the ride is not too harsh, and cabin noise is not too loud. That's why I bought this instead of a Subaru. There is no doubt in my mind that this is a MUCH better choice if you drive long distances.
Paddle shifters on the steering wheel, or you can use plus-and-minus shifter on the gear lever, or you can drive in automatic.
AWD transmission with three settings: Tarmac, dirt, and snow. Select sport mode or what I think of as normal mode (affects the automatic shift points).
What's wrong with it:
Some tiny pits (pinpricks) in paint on the hood caused by small road debris. I chose not to insult your intelligence by retouching them. You see them if you look closely. Small scratches (shown in photo) on gas filler cap and rear panel, where a cat jumped up.
Small blemishes on the skirt below the front grille. No major scrapes.
Where's the spoiler? If you know this model, you know it should have a BIG spoiler on the back. I removed it because I prefer to be perceived by highway patrol as an elderly gentleman in a family car. The trunk lid was refinished and completely repainted to hide the four bolt holes where the spoiler was attached. This was professionally done and I don't think you'll be able to tell the difference between the trunk and surrounding paint.
The spoiler is still available if you want it (see photo), and can be reattached by redrilling the four bolt holes. However, the spoiler is a hollow plastic shell and I seriously doubt that it will alter the car's performance or handling. Your choice!
The only non-stock feature on the car is tinting on side windows. This was done by the dealer that sold it new. So far as I know, it is legal tinting.
I must receive $500 via PayPal from the winning bidder within 72 days after end of auction. This will be refunded immediately when you see the car if you find anything that discourages you from buying it.
Note my 100% feedback score. I have been an eBay user for more than ten years. I have never been in any kind of dispute relating to items that I have sold.
If you inspect it and want it, we go to the nearest bank, deposit your teller's check and/or cash, and sign over the title. There is a DMV facility just three blocks away.
This is a clean Arizona title.
I do believe you will love this car. And, of course, they aren't being manufactured anymore.

“Excellent condition, always kept in Arizona (covered), always serviced by Mitsubishi dealers, usual oil change every 3,000 miles, always synthetic oil. No transmission noise. Floor mats have been protected.Original factory tires still installed, will need replacement within 5,000 miles, I didn't change them because I figured you would know what you like.” |
