Up for sale is my 2014 Porsche 911. I will try to give an exhaustive description to encompass all that I would want to know if I were considering the purchase of high end exotic car, perhaps sight unseen. If you do not feel like reading this exhaustive narrative, know this: THIS CAR IS FLAWLESS. Here goes:
Who am I
? My name is Mark and I am a physician in Denver Colorado and I am an absolute car fanatic. I am that guy who will not take his car to dinner with his wife, because I don't like valets parking my car. I am that guy who parks his car miles away from any other car in parking lots, because I want to mitigate against door dings and scratches from metal buckles on women's purses. If I must park in the general population, I am that guy that must have the end spot to make sure I am parked way far away from any car that could be potentially opening a door into mine. I am the guy who never takes his cars through automatic car washes. Anyway, suffice it to say, this car has had better care than most Ferraris or Bentleys.
Car's history:
I bought this car 18 months ago with 1400 miles on it. It was previously owned by an engineer in Ft Collins Colorado. That fool traded it in on an SL63 AMG. I bought the car from Mercedes of Westminster.
Has it ever been in an accident
: No
Has it ever had any paintwork
: No
How are the wheels
: When I bought it, the drivers front wheel had minor scratches on it. It bothered me, so I bought a brand new one from Porsche. Now all 4 wheels are perfect without a single ding, nick or scratch. I wax them every few months with PS2 wheel wax.
Tires
: 90% all around. I park the car in the winter on 4 rubber mats to prevent flat spots.
Has it ever seen inclement weather
: Never. I drive it only on sunny days and it sits under custom fitted cover *(with a battery tender on) in the winter. Cover is included with sale.
How is the paint
: The paint is flawless. Look at the pictures. I hand wash my cars using Wolfgang soap, a wool wash mitt, and hand dry with very fine Griots microfiber towels. Every six months this car gets hand clay barred, lightly polished with Merzerna products, and then sealed with synthetic Wolfgang wax. As such, the paint is simply stunning. There is no oxidation, no orange peeling, no spider webbing, and certainly no scratches. I had someone ask me once, is it my imagination or does your car emit a glow. I answered no it's not your imagination. The Amaranth Red paint color is one that I looked for for almost 9 months. It is very rare and stands out when the car is at the dealership when the car is being serviced. Everyone has guards red, black, silver and white...but this Porsche is Amaranth Red. Its stunning.
How is the interior
: It's perfect. The black leather seats are treated regularly with Leatherique, and as such there is no cracking anywhere. They look brand new. There are no odors or stains in the interior because nobody is allowed to eat in my car.
Maintenance
: Last full maintenance was done June 25th at 2071 miles. That service was $1080 so the car needs absolutely nothing. I have all service records--the car has had three oil changes.
Warranty
: It has full bumper to bumper factory warranty until 11/18. So you have nothing to worry about regarding anything.
Best Options
: YOU MUST experience the rev matching option, which makes the manual experience make you feel like a race car driver. It also has sport chromo, lighted rockers, upgraded stereo system, sport package, heated seats, sunroof, bluetooth, and sport exhaust.
Transmission
: Manual! Don't let anyone tell you any differently, the manual is way more fun to drive.
Do I have title
