Backdraft Racing Cobra replica (BDR1355). San Marino Blue/White LeMans stripes. Less than 2500 miles logged. 427 cid Ford Racing 351W-based small-block V8 (approximately 500 hp/500 lbs./ft. torque]. This engine pulls all the way through the powerband, yet, is easily street driven if the throttle is squeezed gently. Let it rip and your head snaps back whether you're ready for it or not. The engine was professionally built, dyno-tested & tuned. All fuel & vacuum lines under the hood are SS (stainless steel) braided. It also boasts a chromed alternator, serpentine pulleys, SS coolant tubing & tank, custom spark plug wires & custom engine wiring harness all for a tidy fit. The engine is mated to a smoothly-engaging Tremec 'T-5' (5-speed) transmission, steel driveshaft safety hoop and a BMW 'Series 3' IRS with 3.73:1–final ratio gearing. Four-wheel disk brakes by Wilwood. 18 aluminum wheels with true knockoff spinners.
The interior is rich black leather upholstery, premium black carpeting w/piped edges, original-in-appearance AutoMeter blackfaced electronic gauges with the reverse-winding (counter clockwise) speedometer, 4-point original-style/ aircraft-style quick-release harnesses, and wood Motolita style steering wheel. The Backdraft's interior will accommodate taller drivers [I'm 6'-0/210 lbs. & fit comfortably] and has a slide-adjustable driver's seat. The retro look includes with sidepipes, quick jack bumpers, brushed aluminum shifter knob, steering wheel center cap and rollbar. I added a clear stoneguard/ chip protector to the front of the car and along the leading edge of the rear fenders.
With only ±2, 500 lbs. [1, 134 kg] curb weight, it's extremely nimble and quick, and will turn heads everywhere you go!
