The Good: Runs and Drives, Autopilot enabled (All AP1 features presently), Supercharging enabled (unlimited access), 3rd row seat equipped, Panoramic Roof, 85kWh battery, Air-Suspension, dual chargers installed for 20kw charging @ 240VAC, Lithium 12V battery installed (BattMobile brand).
Can buy it and drive it home free on the supercharging network, interior is in good condition, 3rd row seats have never really even been used (can be removed, which is what we did, but will reinstall prior to selling). Charges past 300 Ideal Miles, battery is a strong performer in great condition. All glass intact, tinted windows, tires were inspected by costco recently and they said they have another 20K miles left on them at least.
The Bad: Drivers door handle not auto-presenting (taped a tab on it so it works fine but doesn't auto-present), Passenger side was struck and front passenger door is not mounting properly, it works fine but has to be closed harder and is not aligned perfectly. Also a section of the lower door frame aluminum was cut out, have the replacement piece in same color which can be put back in place. Motor is noisier than it should be but we've put over 10K miles on it in the last 12 months without any issues other than some noise at low speeds.
Option to the buyer to have it rooted and removed from Tesla VPN prior to purchase, presently it is unrooted but has been salvaged for 12 months and is still receiving software updates (presently on 8.0) and unlimited supercharging access.
We purchased this vehicle to use for R&D purposes to develop a 12V Lithium battery for TESLA vehicles, we chose to leave it as is rather than finish off the last few details because they don't effect the function of the car, it drives fine, AP works fine, it supercharges, gets software updates, everything works, etc. To make it perfect someone would have to finish off those projects (or have someone else do it for you); we don't have the time to do this or we would do it prior to selling and ask for a bit more money, our loss (and lack of time) is your gain!
