Solid handling and remarkable low-end acceleration make it a joy to drive 5 STAR RATING Overall Rating Interior/Exterior Performance Comfort and Quality Safety Features Fuel Economy / MPG Reliability It's amazingly quiet, and the low center of gravity due to the battery location makes for awesome handling in the curves, and it feels like a heavier car on the rode. Extremely comfortable seats and good leg room. Acceleration from 5-50 mph is fantastic, but after 50 it definitely rolls off. The computer won't let it go over 85 mph. Published range is 85 miles, and I've gotten 95 miles in stop and go traffic using maximum regenerative braking, but practical range on the highway at 65 mph is 75 miles with 10 miles left in the tank. Subtract 5 miles range if you drive 80 mph like I do. Here on the West Coast, we have the NRG EVgo network, which has quite a few Level 3 (DC Fast Charge) public stations that will recharge the batter to 80% in 20 min.
