Up for sale is a unique 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 Time Machine was part of the Barris Star Car Collection. It has been autographed by the late George Barris and it wears the Barris crests and Dash emblems. The dash, flux capacitor and other components on the car illuminate. It has been a part of the Volvo museum for over 20 years. Only one screen used time machine has ever been released by Universal Studios and it sold at auction in 2011 for $541k prior to restoration. This promotional time machine is one of the earliest non-screen used time machines ever built, with its ties to the Barris Star Car Collection it has a rich history. Over the years this car has drawn tens of thousands of people to the museum and gain them hundreds of thousands of dollars in free media value. It is one of the most favorite and iconic TV & Movies Cars to exist.
The car is located here in Miami Florida call me with any questions 305-542-5662. The car has 37, XXX miles on it and it's been mostly sitting has a show piece. For those that would want to make it a daily driver it will need certain things like new tires and etc...Check out my video to see the car in action. It runs really good. Does have a small crack on the front windshield, but its the original windshield, so we didn't want to touch it. It has factory 2.8L engine and automatic transmission.
