Vehicle Details Up for sale is an opportunity that doesn't come around very often.  An Opel Kadett Rallye with the desirable 1.9 CIH with 4 speed transmission.  We are New Vintage Automotive, a restoration shop that specializes in Opels of all models.  This Kadett was brought in as a trade for restoration work and is what I would call a great driver.  Now its not up to the level of our full restorations, but it also doesn't come with that $50k Price tag either.  The car was restored about 16 years ago, painted in Rallye Orange, originally bought in St Louis as I have the original service booklet for the car.  It runs excellent, has electronic ignition with a Weber 32/36.  Starts up every time, even if I park it for a month.  It fast idles, and then comes down to correct idle speed.  I have not done anything to the car mechanically or otherwise, its how I got it, and it runs out great. Engine is said to have been gone through, but I have no documentation of this, I can only refer to how strong and smooth it runs.  Front bushings have been replaced with polyurethane.  They do tend to squeak over bumps.  All the gauges work (Rallye Included), all the lights work, including the Fog lights.   Interior is nice, carpet has been redone, headliner has one small cut, about 1/4, but is the original headliner.  Front windshield is newer, and excellent shape.  I have a video on Youtube showing the car in more detail, and running.  Ebay will not allow me to embed the link for the video, but you can search 1968 Opel Kadett Rallye for sale, and It will pop right up.  This is the most requested model we get at our shop, and we will assist with shipping.  We have a reliable enclosed shipper that we trust, and or it can be picked up in person.  You are welcome to come view the car in person, we are in Cookeville, TN 38501, right off I-40 between Nashville and Knoxville.  International buyers welcome as well.  YouTube has my contact information posted on the video.  We have restored numerous Opels ranging from Early Rekords to Mantas, GTs, Kadetts and even a Pre-war Opel.  The car has a clear title in my name, so there will be no problems with the transfer of the car.  The car can be driven to your destination, but that will be the sole discretion of the buyer.  This is a 52 year old car with no parts availability at your local part stores, so trailering would always be recommended.
