I bought this from the original owner last fall. She had it serviced regularly at the local Acura Dealer. I replaced the rear brake pads and rotors, rear wheel bearings, and a front wheel bearing that was making noise.
This is a very original GSR. It must have been garage kept, as the paint is still Red and not the faded pink like you would expect from a Honda of this vintage. There is no rust on the quarters, or any where else. There are only a couple scuffs or bruises on the body. The wheels are very good, with minimal curb marks or peeling clear. The black leather interior shows very little wear. It has a dealer installed leather steering wheel cover, and splash guards.
The car drives very well. The engine pulls strong to the red line. It doesn't smoke, burn oil, or make any strange sounds. The trans shift smooth, without any grinds. The suspension still feels tight and doesn't make any weird noises. Everything works as it should.
I bought this car with the idea of preserving it and occasionally driving it on nice days. It's not perfect, but everything works like it should, and it's a fine example of a well cared for GSR. I've decided after working around it this winter that I don't have the room to keep it. I'm sure there is someone would enjoy driving it regularly.
Delivery is the responsibility of the buyer. I would not be afraid to drive this car anywhere. I will assist with delivery in any way I can.
$500 deposit due 1 day after end of auction. Balance due in cash at time of pick-up.
