1998 Championship White Acura Integra Type R, 65, 900 miles, clean title CA car, factory non A/C car. I have own this car since June 2012. This is one of my weekend toys and I have multiple cars hence I put less than 5000 miles during my ownership. Sole reason for selling is because of purchase of another vehicle and I am trying to free up garage space. Car is in excellent condition both exterior and interior. Paint shows very well with no sign of fade or oxidation, car always been garaged. Interior is very clean, no rip or tears on dash, door panels, headliner and seats. Mechanically the car run very strong and solid, idle perfect, no smoke, VTEC kick is smooth, transmission shift perfectly into all gears without any grinds.
I am a car enthusiast and I am very particular on all my cars, I do the best I could to keep my cars in tip top shape. Maintenance items listed below were done within the last 4000 miles.- Valve adjustment with new valve cover gasket- NGK iridium spark plugs and wires- Bosch oxygen sensors- Fuel filter- Transmission oil change, brake fluid flush, coolant flush- Dunlop StarSpec Z1 tires 195/55/15 (80% trend remaining)- Front and rear sway bar linkage and bushing- Custom alignment- New catalyst converter- Optima yellow top battery- Front/rear brake rotors and pads have around 70% remaining
Oil changes every 6mo with Amsoil 0w-30 synthetic. Timing belts, water pump, drive belts were replaced in 7/2009 at 48500 miles, clutch replaced about 15000 miles ago along with 15lbs lightweight flywheel. All maintain are up to date. This car will not need anything besides oil changes for next few years. I have the original window sticker, owner's manual/booklets. I did most of the maintenance myself, I keep track of the services with a spreadsheet and it will be available to the buyer along with all the receipts.
Car comes with few desirable JDM OEM Honda parts, - Driver and passenger side JDM Type R Recaro seats- JDM OEM 3 Spoke Type R non air bag steering wheel (original US steering wheel with airbag included), passenger side air bag deleted (passenger airbag included)- JDM OEM Side skirts and rear bumper skirts- JDM OEM 4-1 Headers with OEM heat shields and new catalytic converter (car passes CA smog check without any issues)- OEM HID Xenon projector lights and ballasts from Acura TSX- Ground Control coilovers suspension with KONI Sport shocks adjusted to 1 inch lower than original ride height along with custom alignment by Roger Kraus Racing **- Ground Control front and rear upper shocks mounts and SPC rear camber kit installed along with suspensions- TEGIWA carbon fiber airbox ordered from UK * * Original airbox and original suspensions (shocks/springs) wrapped in plastic bag and will be included with the car
There are few blemishes area on the car that I want to point out so bidder is aware of what they are bidding/buying.Minor scratches on the lower front spoiler and rear bumper (see pictures), one very small chip on windshield (see picture), wheels have some nicks (see pictures). I took the car to a professional paint-less dings remover to remove all minor dings and dents around the car except one penny size ding on the passenger side A-pillar near the roof (see picture) which they cannot remove. Driver side seat have high traffic areas has dark spots on the alcantara material, no rip or tear (see picture). All VIN stickers are intact except the front hood and front bumper have been replaced and repainted due to a minor parking lot incident in 2003 according to previous owner, both front fenders are original and there are no signs of structure damage to the chassis from this incident. Passenger rear quarter panel has been repainted due to paint scratch (keyed), the quarter panel is still original and have not be alter with VIN sticker attached. Rear trunk light will not illuminate for some reason. Power antenna is not working but I never listen to radio while driving this car so I never bother to get it replace, plus it has iPod connection so you can always listen to your iPod. $1000 non refundable deposit must be receive within 24 hours after auction end. Remaining balance must be paid in full in cash or wire transfer. Serious buyer only. Please no low ball offer. If you can find another Type R with lower price, please keep it to yourself because I do not want to hear about it. Do not place a bid if you do not have insufficient funds on hand. I don't mind to keep the car if the price cannot meet my expectations. Buyer will be responsible for all transportation and shipping cost. All payment must be clear before release of the vehicle.
