I want to sell my beautiful 1991 Acura Legend Coupe. A car is only new once. This is a 75, 000 mile jewel. Do you want a car with rust, a cracked windshield, and a new steering rack? Accident history? Shop elsewhere, please. I am the second owner. I bought it in 1999 from a little old lady from the area who said she only drove it to church and the grocery store. It has never been out of California - in fact, I doubt it has ever been more than 100 miles from Fresno - so it has never been exposed to any salt or other similar issues and has NO RUST. Hear that, Portland - Atlanta - Boston - NY - Omaha - Denver - Seattle??? I'll bet it has never even seen rain. It has a 24-valve 6 cylinder 3.2 liter engine that produces 202 horsepower. The transmission is a 4-speed automatic. It has ALWAYS been garaged, so it has zero sun issues, and always covered by me. It has an accident-free Autocheck report. I have ALL its service paperwork from Fresno Acura since the day it was new. It is dark (Cobalt) blue with the optional Ivory LEATHER interior. Almost no one has ever sat in the passenger seat or the back seats - and until a few months ago, I had a custom sheepskin cover on the driver's seat, so the leather shows virtually no wear. I have treated it with leather conditioner regularly. When I bought it in 1999, it had an ABS problem, so a new pressure unit was installed. It also got a new brake master cylinder then too. I had the dealership add the factory Gold Package right after I bought it. Nothing else has ever been done to it. The current mileage is a bit under 74, 500 miles. I have only driven it about 12, 000 miles over the 16 years. It is the L model. It has ABS and a driver's side front airbag. Everything on the car works as it should - steering wheel controls for cruise control and the radio; power doors; power antenna, power driver's seat with MEMORY, all 4 speakers - everything. All the paint is original. All the glass is original. I put new Michelins on it when I bought it, but they became a bit cracked over the years, so it is now riding on 4 NEW Goodyear Eagle GT V-speed rated tires ($800). It has a new Acura / Honda Group 24 battery ($150). It has a new oil filter and oil and is ready to go. It easily passed California smog on June 20, 2015. The tags are good until August 2016.
My Buy It Now price is $11, 500. You are also welcome to make me an offer through eBay. If you have been looking for an excellent, low-mileage example of a Legend Coupe, you should consider mine. If is doesn't sell, I will keep it and show it in the coming years. My collector-car insurance only costs me $250 / year. I will require a $2000 deposit within 24 hours of the auction's end via Paypal - the balance to be paid for by USPS M/Os. Your winning bid or accepted offer creates a legal contract to buy the car. I am selling it where-is and as-is, with no warranty other than warranting that it has a clean CA title in my name, and has passed smog as described. It is a 24 year old car and will naturally have some flaws. I prefer to have the new owner come here and drive it away. I will consider letting it be shipped, but that is the buyer's responsibility to arrange and pay for. I also have it listed elsewhere, so I reserve the right to end this ad at any time. Thanks.
