Hey there!
For sale is an absolutely beautiful 2002 Acura TL Type-S. 260 HP, It gets about 30mpg highway, so extremely practical. It has 64, 000 miles which is unheard of. Clean carfax. Fully loaded for that year with leather, heated seats, heated mirrors, wood grain dash/steering wheel, sunroof, etc. Also has a DVD system installed both headrests and sun visors for your entertainment. DVD player is mounted beneath passenger seat. Super clean interior with no rips, tears, or stains in the leather.
ONLY PROBLEM- Transmission issues. Everytime I drive the car, it will intermittently shift wrong and then the car's VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) light comes on and the D5 (Overdrive gear) Starts flashing like the transmission corrected itself. Based on my research, this transmission had a recall due to 2nd gear slippage back in the early 2000's and this particular car was taken in and that issue was fixed. I took it to my buddy's shop to run diagnostics, and codes were brought up to replace the solenoids. I decided to pull the trigger on doing so while getting a new trans filter & fluids, but after spending $800, the same problem occurs. At that point in time I decided to list this car for sale & buy a new car off of his lot since I wanted one anyway. So looking to wholesale this car to someone that either wants a beautiful car for cheap & has some mechanic friends or someone that knows how to fix it themselves. Lists at $6200 on KBB since excellent condition. Acura motors will run forever. & thing definitely does haul.
LASTLY-This NO RESERVE price of $2850 is for the car WITH the STOCK wheels. The rims shown in the pictures can be purchased for an additional $500 OBO. Stock wheels have 85% tread left. 19 inch rims (No road rash whatsoever, brand new a few months ago) showin in pics have about 80% tread left.
