This is a rare find - I am the original owner, and took tender loving care of the car since day one.
It was garage kept, regularly washed, and fully synthetic oil changed every 3 to 4, 000 miles (Acura recommends every 5, 000 miles).
About 75% of the mileage are highway miles (I have to commute to work).
Acura/Honda reliability is legendary, and this particular year/model was assembled in Japan, which makes it even more special. I am confident this car will run without major problems at least for another 100k miles.
It still feels and drives like new, easily making 32-33 MPG on the highway and about 25-26 MPG in mixed driving.
Cosmetic condition is also excellent, but there are some minor signs of age. I listed all of the known defects, however small, in the condition description. There are one or two small stone chips in the hood, some marks on the doors from friendly citizens parking next to me at the grocery stores, one minor ding on the trunk lid, and two bruises on the rear bumper (another friendly parking kiss). A quarter inch round hole in the front passenger seat leather, and ink and crayon marks on the rear seat leather, also crayon painted rear cup holder, courtesy of a little girl who must be a future artist. One floor mat is missing, and the others could use some steam cleaning. Everything is documented in great detail in the pictures.
Tires are getting worn and will need to be replaced soon, but I figured the new owner will choose the tires according to her or his driving style etc. I will set the reserve price $500 lower than what Edmunds and KBB say the car is worth, because of that.
All in all, this is an excellent and fun to drive car, and I hope you will love it just as much as I did.
Local pickup preferred. I will deliver within 100 miles from 14903 (Rochester, Ithaca, Binghamton). Shipping to a more distant location can also be arranged if desired.
Forgot to add - you can enjoy the remaining couple of months of Sirius XM satellite radio subscription and Empire Pass for NY state parks for 2015.
Also forgot to add - both front and rear brakes are brand new, disks and pads, so the car should really need no maintenance except oil changes for the next couple of years.
Selling because I bought another car for my son, and turns out he does not need it. Otherwise, I would keep this one until one of us died :-) It is that good.
