1986 Alfa Romeo GTV6 SUNROOFI've known of this car for years and bought this car from my client. It has been barely driven and been setting under a carport for many years. Last year I replaced the water pump, fuel pump timing belt, rear brake calipers and gave it a tune up. It starts right up and sounds fantastic!
It's a red original paint GTV6 with a sun roof and tan interior. This is the last year of the GTV6. The speedometer and tachometer have just been fixed... Engine, Transmission, and Clutch are all in a good condition. Zero rust and no accident history. The paint still shines good, but it needs new upholstery and interior. The carpet is in good shape and is clean. Door panels are in a good condition. Tires are not too bad, with some miles to go on them. The front windshield needs to be replaced, as well as the dashcap, and the seats need to be reupholstered.. when these repairs are fixed the car is worth close to $10K. With affordable changes/fixes you'll have a nice GTV6 to drive around. I have a duplicate title from the previous owner and the last time it was registered was in 2012... the car is sold as is and the buyer pays the fees and registration. These GTV6's, especially the 1986 GTV6's, are becoming harder to find (even harder to find with no rust). serious buyers can call me with any questions.
About the mileage of the car, I am not sure if the mileage is original, no guarantees on that. I spoke with the previous owner and he told me he owned this car for 8 years. When he bought it, it was near the same mileage and he only drove it less then 500 miles, then he had major surgery and no longer could drive the car and parked it. He said the speedo went out during those 500 miles.
