1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Speciale (all numbers matching! with it's original engine)This is a complete and original Sprint Speciale with all it's original parts including all the hard to find bits and pieces with only 33, 947 miles, The car has been in storage for several years and is in need of restoration. It has some rust on the rocker panels and some surface rust in some area's but overall a solid car as you can see from the photos.The car was originally white but painted red sometime in the late 70's
Here is what the Alfa Romeo archivist, Mr.Marco Fazio emailed me about this Alfa: According to our documentation files, the chassis number AR 00242 originally corresponds to an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Speciale USA (101.17) manufactured on the 14th October 1960 and sold on the 28th October 1960 to Hoffman Motor Car Co, New York, USA.The body colour is gardenia white(AR005) with grey and blue interiors.
These investment vehicles are highly collectable and sought after.. this one is definitely the one to restore since it is very solid, numbers matching and 100% complete! This vehicle has been stored in a climate controlled warehouse and not been started in several years, it will need restoration and is being sold as is with no warranty stated or implied. I expect $500 paypal deposit and remaining payment within 5 days. The car can be picked up after the funds clear my account. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer but I will assist if I can. Buyer will be given a bill of sale and the original New Jersey title I received when i bought the car.
