Alfa Romeo Other (1967)
for sale
Price: US $45,000.00
Price: US $45,000.00
My personal car is now officially For Sale.
It has received mechanical restoration by myself with recent Fichel + Sachs clutch replacement performed by 35 year Alfa Romeo technician extraordinary Juvenal Rodrigues.
The car is 514 red and has been used for advertising shoots and had been invited to attend and was shown at the Greenwich Concours in 2012.
The vehicle has hundreds of new OEM parts and comes complete with a factory Pininfarina hardtop fitted with new Classic Alfa weatherstrips. The Duetto even has a new windshield and headlight covers.
This Duetto is original and sympathetically restored to retain it's original appearance and operational characteristics in every respect. New Continental 165x15 tires with restored original steel volcano-style wheels come with the vehicle. Brand new OEM-style hubcaps. .new valve stem seals.
The price is $45, 000 firm...including an original and rarely offered for sale in North America Pininfarina hardtop. If the purchaser decides not to accept the hardtop with the car the price of my Duetto would therefore be $43, 000. In that case the hardtop would be sold separately as would a host of valuable spares such as rebuilt generator, newly rebuilt steering box by Highwoods Alfa (UK) and various other important spares..such as spare wheels and tires. .spare front and rear bumper sets, spare lighting and numerous other spares both large and small.
Cosmetically it is in excellent Driver #2+ condition with a single silver dollar coin-sized rust spot existant over the left rear wheel arch opening.
What little metal work involved in that repair does not detract with its' show appearance but should be considered down the road somewhere. I have not been in any hurry to have a small panel 'stitched' into the body... a spare new sheet metal arch imported from England for any eventual repair.
There is no other known rust point on the entire chassis!
This Duetto is ready for a cross-country trip at a moment's notice. Only the finest lubricants have been used ...and it does have a rare cast aluminum oil filter assembly permitting standard Fram Ph-7 oil filters to be fitted and efficiently changed in mere minutes.
Interested, serious parties only are invited to contact me only through eBay. Owned by a former member of the National Service Department of Alfa Romeo.Inc of Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey and Orlando Florida. Visit my website at www.RobertLittle.US for my history of Alfa Romeo Autodelta racing during the Golden Years of racing.
You will not find a more knowledgeable Alfa Romeo owner or seller in America. A complete receipt and log file accompanies the vehicle to its new owner,
Thank you for your attention. This excellent and rarely seen original and unmolested Duetto is ready for pick-up to the first cash buyer. A new Alfa Romeo vehicle awaits my consideration!
