This is a 1984 Alfa Romeo GTV6 with 147k miles with a lot of restoration and rebuilding done by the previous owner. It has less than 5000 miles on the rebuilt drivetrain and other mechanicals. After getting the car home, I was told that the car goes or I go…The previous owner is available for some questions and he sold it because he’s moving. Here’s his ad from Craig’s List.
The list is long and not everything is listed. There are some small things that could use attention but this car is priced with those in consideration; dash is cracked but has a cover, window motor switches needs replacing, small rear seat cover at the top corner has piece missing. He found some rust in the front corner of the driver’s side floor pan after the sale. He removed the small damaged area and installed a full over lay floor pan before delivering to me. I’ll get a couple photos and add here later. There is a small area behind the LR tire well but can be easily repaired. More photos will be uploaded for this and some other details.
This car starts right up, gets very good mpg approx. 28, motor runs great, shifting is very good. Many receipts and repair manuals with the car. This is a great car for a GTV6 IMHO, but the wife’s been around longer.
Exterior
Paint re-spray a few years ago - Red Color with some minor chipping; periodically touched up so as to not rust.
Front Grille w/nylon headlight screw retainers instead of the OEM metal that rusts
Spoiler/Splitter but has crack damage but has temporary repair to prevent more damage
H4/H1 Headlight Euro Cut Glass Lens conversion with custom retainer clips
Sportiva 16 x 8 Rims with Alfa Romeo Emblem Caps -- 60k manufacturer's mileage
Yokohama Avid V4s 225/50/16 Hi-performance all season but 2 need replacing from recent alignment problem. They are about $105 each.
