I am selling my 1974 Alfa Romeo Spider. The car was originally purchased in San Francisco and has spent its entire life in the Bay Area. The car has original California blue plates. The vehicle is a stand-out example of the best year Series 2 Spiders. This is a fast and beautiful car that has been responsibly cared for and respectfully driven by an enthusiast owner. No rust. No crashes. No jive.
Recent refurbishments include:
1. Carefully applied dual stage urethane paint by Rhodwork, San Rafael. CA
2. Recent (500 miles) cylinder head rebuild by Jon Norman Racing in Berkeley, including new 11. mm lift camshafts, cam followers, Isky valve springs, large valves, port matching and polishing.
3. Tuned and rebuilt Weber 40 DCOE carburators.
4. Recent (500 miles) clutch disk and pressure plate. New clutch slave cylinder, master cylinder.
5. Electronic ignition. Hot Bosch coil.
6. Recent water pump. Correct fuel pump.
7. Rebuilt suspension, including Centerline performance springs (front and rear), tie rod ends, ball joints and adjustable control arms. Koni shocks.
8. Exhaust: Stebro stainless steel.
9: Wheels: Alfaholics GTA Veleoce with Bridgestone Potenza tires.
