Up for your consideration is a very nice driver quality representation of Alfa Romeo's 1974 Kamm Tail 2000 Spider Veloce, with the desireable stainless steel front and rear bumpers.
The stainless bumper Alfa's (1970-1974 only) are now trending just behind the 1968 and 1969 Duettos in value, and escalating in value annually. They currently are a very affordable collectible car now, which will soon to change.
Powered by a 1962cc twin cam all aluminum four cylinder engine, now equipped with twin Italian Dellorto carburators, replacing the original Spica fuel injection, 11mm performance camshafts, and twin point distributor, it produces a respectable amount of performance for a 2300 lb chassis. Its five speed transmisson shifts nicely with no issues or second gear crunch, an inherent weakness in most Alfa Romeo's of this vintage.
Recent upgrades include a new convertible top, a refurbished additional hardtop (rare), new carpet floor mats, complete tuning inclusive of carburator synchronization, NGK Platinum plugs, points, condensor, ignition wires, compression check (185psi, all cylinders) synthetic oil change with filter (10/40 Castrol), synthetic gear oil replacement, alignement, and much more. The four tires are 185/70 14 Goodyear Integrity, mounted to very nice alloy Alfa Romeo Cromadora wheels. The tires are new.
The Spiders Pinin Farina Blue finish is showing its age, with some random scratches, chips and minor dings, however appears nicely if not closely examined. A refinish would provide for a very nice appearance overall. A previous rust repair has occurred to the right and left foot wells wherein small metal patches were welded in at these locations. The Spider is very solid overall, not rusty, and maintains its original interior, Hallibrand leather wrapped three spoke steering wheel, and very nice dash pad which has no cracking. The original radio was removed to which a new sound system can be installed to the owners choosing. Personally, I prefer the sound of wind, the din of the engine rpm's, and the timbre of the exhaust which is exhilerating when shifting through the gears.

They are iconic, and unique in nature.

I encourage personal inspection, or by a qualified representative of your choosing prior to auction end. Inspection, as a condition of sale after auction end will not be permitted. Respectfully, please do your due diligence beforehand.
2. Please do not request my reserve or my Buy it Now* price. This is an auction, and it would be unfair to other bidders. My reserve has been affordably established using the latest published figures from Hagerty Valuations, NADA Classic cars, and Old Cars Report Price Guide reflecting current market values. Kindly refer to them to ascertain whether it fits into your budget criteria prior to bidding.
3. I reserve the right to end the auction early, given the Spider is for sale locally and advertised on other international venues. *Realistic offers will be considered, and if it is close to or meets my reserve, I can terminate the auction early.
4. Bidders with a feedback score of 10 or less, please contact me prior to bidding, thus avoiding having your bid cancelled. It would be appreciated.
5. A $1000. deposit is to be made by the winning bidder within 48 hours of auction end, with final payment due within five days of auction end. Wire transfers, Certified funds, or cash only will be accepted. The clear title and the vehicle will be released upon bank clearance of funds.
