You are bidding on a 1974 Alfa Romeo Spider Quadrifolio verde. I owned this car for 5 years. I have done several upgrades and much needed work to bring it up to a reliable fun car.Body :The car has gone trough a full body and rust repair, as seen in the photos; new floor pans; repaired rust in rocker panes and any areas that needed attention. The body of the car has been taken down to metal and had a full color change to Rosso Corsa--engine bay, full interior, doors, etc.Motor:Full motor rebuild has been completed: new valves, valve seats, head resurface, new piston and liners, rings, new crank shaft, water pump, oil pump, ignition, ignition coils, full gasket set, spark plug wires, fuel pump, new Ansa performance exhaust motor mounts and much more--all documented. Motor has been converted to a set of brand new Webber carburetors. It has been professionally tuned and runs great. Suspensions/brakes:New shocks, all control arm bushings, new brake calipers and pads, brake master cylinder, drive shaft bushing, brake lines, clutch slave master cylinder, Transmission:The transmission has been gone trough and serviced, no crunch in gears, car shift very smooth in all gears.Visual Upgrades:The interior has been upgrades with brand new carpets, shift knob original with logo, a new ash trey assembly has been replaced with a new old stock, steering wheel original, new door handles have been installed on the inside, proper radio delete plate is now installed, (radio is present under plate but has been upgraded to a removable face and will come with car). Seats are original in very nice shape, passenger seat has small tear in hidden area. The wheels are the famous Campagnolo star pattern Alfa Romeo wheels. Proper period correct quadrifolio decals, new front grill and badge, and proper rear markings. Tool kit and matching spare tire is also present. The car has also a new vinyl top that deploys with little effort.Tires show plenty of tread left, the electrical system has been gone trough but original, all relays have been replacedWhat needs attention:Windshield washer system needs to be installed, windshield wipers work sporadically, reverse light switch needs replacing.
Overall, the car is in great shape and runs well, There are less than 2000 miles on the new motor. All documentation and photos of restoration will come with the car. This car is a driver but will also do well in any car show. This vehicle is a true example of a fun weekend Italian sports car.
