AMC's AMX is a bit smaller than your typical late 1960's American Muscle Cars, but packs more power, comfort and options than European Cars of the same Era. This 1968 AMX is a low mileage, highly optioned example with factory A/C and the desirable Go Package -- Which includes the 390 Cu In V8 with 4 BBL Carb, Dual Exhaust, Power Disc Brakes, Positraction Rear End, Handling Package, Heavy Duty Cooling, Racing Stripes, and the factory Tachometer. The car has seen one repaint to the original factory color ( original paint remains under the front hood); It is an unrestored but very well preserved survivor in good condition inside and out. Nearly New Tires on the original factory Rally Wheels. Interior shows well - the AMX was the only steel bodied two seater of its era - The Corvette was Fiberglass, of course. Bucket seats are in Excellent condition. Dash, carpet, door panels and console are in good original condition .Factory A/C blows cold -all original except for a modern radio and supplemental engine gauges.Shift Command Auto Trans - Runs and drives well - New Front Brakes and recent engine service.
