Description:

Car is being re listed due to fraudulent buyer--Said his e-bay ID was compromised-Who knows--So now I have to waste the time and money and re-list the car--anyone with a 20 or less feedback score must contact me prior to bidding-Sorry but too much nonsense going on out there--I will cancel your bid if you don't contact me-So now for the car-- 1969 AMX -343 4 speed---Let me start off with the history of the car-I recently came across the car in a bodyshop where it has been sitting for a few months and was accumulating storage fees and the owner wanted to sell it---Turns out the car was taken there back in may-for a full restoration. The guy took it there and then got sick-Unfortunately the gentleman has since passed away.-He purchased the car in late 69--He loved this car but it has seen better days-Lets say it needs a restoration--or just keep it as a driver and cruise around in it--The car is a 343 and a 4 speed and is #'s matching-The car runs really really good. Shifts and drives like it should-Its been sitting since 1996-I got it and it wasn't running-I took it to my mechanic where they did all the usual stuff-I had them check the car over and get it running-they put in a new battery and fixed a wire that was loose and the car started right up and it really runs great-It also needed a new master cylinder. From what I can tell the car has been painted at some point and has had bodywork done in the past-And it was at that time the white strip was added. It definitely needs a paint job and some bodywork--Its a Regatta Blue Car with the Platinum interior. The seats are faded and dry rotted and the headliner has drooped like they all do-The car is good and the dash is nice-It seems to have a drw somewhere as the ALT light is on and the battery goes low over night-Not sure why and I haven't investigated it-Its not the alternator-It might be the voltage regulator-- It is a matching # motor and trans-The car came with those ugly Keystone Rims and tires-The tires are very nice-They are 14--I do have the factory steel rims and AMC hubcaps that the car was born with. I also have a new red plastic piece that goes between the tail lights. The one that's on the car is cracked. It has the original space saver spare and canister and jack and lug wrench and tie down. The trunk on the car seems to be in very very nice shape--the underside of the car isn't too bad-please see the pics-I found a couple spots that I could see on the rear pans-Frame looks good-But please examine the pics-Im no AMC expert--The worst part of the car is on the underside of the front driver side fender-I guess its called the front fender gusset also see the picture--Its weird its just on the driver side front fender-I had to ask an AMC guy what it was called-So I guess its the front fender gusset-that will need repair-Please see the pic-I drove the car today and it drove really nice-It has cherry bombs on it so it sounds good-Its a good running #'s matching AMX with a 343 and a 4 speed that's selling at a low reserve-I list my cars to sell--Please see my Donohue that I have listed-its nice!-So if your looking for a #'s matching car to restore while you drive this is it and has had one owner since 1969 with a papertrail to verify it--Its been off the road since 96-But its still a cool AMX-and will be sold!!!! Feel free to ask questions and I will do my best to answer them-or come see the car.-Very low reserve just like the last time I listed it-
