Description:
This has been my project since 2013. I am selling since I recently bought a Corvette for the wife and keeping that running, and her happy, takes all my time.
This is a 1968 AMC AMX with a 390 and automatic. The car has the Go Pack. I have spent the last 2 years finding a hood, trunk lid, grille, grille support, front bumper, headlight buckets and hoods, headliner, and various trim and engine pieces. The car is 90% complete and is an excellent restoration candidate.
I installed new tires and Torq Thrust wheels. The magnum wheels shown in some pictures were Ford wheels and are no longer with the car.
In order to make this a drive-able car, the following is needed:Reinstall fuel tank and install new fuel linesInstall hoses on engineInstall belts on engineInstall accelerator pedal and linkage to carburetorReconnect wire harness to dash switchesInstall bulbs in exterior lightsInstall front bumperI will assist the successful bidder in coordinating with a shipping company. Shipping is the sole expense of the successful bidder.
