ALL ORIGINAL THAT JUST CAME OUT OF A BARN WHERE IT HAD BEEN SITTING FOR THE LAST 15 YEARS!!!
Hello, I have for auction an extremely rare 1978 Gremlin GT for sale!! This car was a one owner until I recently purchased it from an estate. The elderly Gentleman purchased three Gremlins the same day and gave two of them to his kids and kept this one for himself. It has 18k miles on the odometer and his Son assured me it's the actual miles but I have no way or guaranteeing that! The last time he drove the car he took it on a trip from KY to Denver, CO and came back home and parked it in the barn where it sit for the next 15 years. What's amazing is both his kids still have their Gremlins to this day!
The car is all original and was under coated when he purchased and I guess that's what saved it, it's unbelievable how solid it is! The car has never been painted or had any interior work whatsoever, the carpet still looks almost new! The smell inside isn't too pleasant from where it sit in the barn all those years but that will eventually come out.
It really Is an amazing car and the condition of the steering wheel, the dash, door panels and just everything blows me away at how nice and original everything is! The paint on the car is gorgeous and never touched up, it buffed up beautifully and shines like a new diamond! Every single thing on the car works, down to the original AM radio!! The only issues are the little gasket that seals the factory fender flares to the body is deteriorated but could easily be replaced but I just didn't want to touch anything.
When I got the car I removed the tank and had it cleaned out, installed new fuel pump, changed all the fluids, flushed the transmission, rebuilt the carburetor, installed all new shocks, all new brake parts and brakes, and just put on a new set of tires on the original Magnum 500 wheels! The car runs and drives like you wouldn't believe, such a nice little car and the story the Son told me about his Dad and how he loved the car makes everything that much better!
I have the original keys, owners manual, build sheet, and a copy of the original title.
Like I stated before the car is all original with original paint and interior in really nice condition. The paint does have wear and also scrapes and scratches just like any vehicle would this age but overall it's a really nice original car. I really can't say enough good thing's about the car, I have really grown to love it and I never thought I would say that about a Gremlin! lol... The car runs and drives like you wouldn't believe, it amazes me how tight everything is! Just take a look at the pics and judge for yourself, I bet you won't find another one like this anywhere!! I'm starting the bid at $1.00 and setting a low reserve that I feel the car is more than worth. Please bid if you are a serious buyer as that's who I like doing business with. I have a clear title in hand ready to go. I can also arrange shipping for the buyer if needed. I will help in anyway that I can, just let me know and I will be happy to assist. If the car meets the reserve the high bidder must send a $1000 deposit within 24hrs through Paypal, balance due within 7 days thereafter in cash only, no exceptions. Car is a 1978 model and therefore being sold as is where is with no warranty written or implied. just as all used vehicles are. Thanks for viewing my auction and if you have any questions just let me know!
Thanks for your time and God Bless!!

“The car is in really nice condition for an all original 1978! The car has original paint and therefore does have wear and also bumps and bruises, overall great condition for the age. The body is really good and solid with no rust issues, the only damage is noted in the pics. Has a ding on the passenger fender and small ding on the hood. The front of the passenger side fender has some light damage at the front where it meets the headlight, really easy fix. The original owner mounted a hood ornament and therefore has a couple small holes where he drilled the hood, easily fixed or just mount another one. Missing driver side sun visor”
