This is a very rare 1971 Javelin AMX 401 4 Speed
car. Cortez Red with Levi Corduroy interior. It has
58, 000 original miles! They only made 748 401
cars in 1971. Less than half are 4 speeds. From
what I have been told there were only 50 red on
red cars in the Javelin AMX line which included all
size motors from 6 Cyl to the big V8's. This has got
to be one of a handful red on red 401 cars out there.
It features the Go Pack Option which includes the
Air Column Reduction Hood, Dual Sport Mirrors, Rimblow
Steering Wheel, 390 Posi, Tic Tock Clock. Car ran and
drove when I bought and I am in process of restoration.
I know of 5 other 71 401 4 speeds and all have had a
big dollar restoration done and are in collections. I
had a 71 Hemi Cuda and wanted something super
rare in the same year. Car only had two registered owners
and the second owner bought it in 1972. I have bought
two rally rims, replaced the trunk and bought a few other
NOS items in process of doing the restoration. Car is sold
where is as is. Please inspect the car or have someone
inspect it for you. I can store the car if you need time to
