1972 AMC Javelin SST White Original Unrestored 360 Automatic w/AC not AMX 2nd Owner American Motors Classic Muscle Car Black Int. Original NOS Goodyear tires with RWL Rally Pac Instrumentation. Cockpit style interior. Odometer shows 13, 500. Actual mileage is 113, 500. Factory vinyl insert split roof treatment. Back seat is mint. Rear quarter windows roll all the way down! Black interior with simulated woodgrain accent. Map pockets. All original interior except for the floor mats. No heat stress! No scuffs or stains. Original 360 Engine. It has not been rebuilt or modified in any way. Heavy amounts of residual Ziebart rust-proofing in the engine compartment. Egg crate style grill is in excellent condition. Original Halogen Headlamps. True Story: I have owned this vehicle for 26 years. I am only responsible for putting 8, 000 miles on this vehicle. Under my ownership, this vehicle has spent a lot of time in storage. I purchased this vehicle from the original owner. This vehicle belonged to a little old lady. The interior seats show very minimal wear! Dashboard is perfect. No cracks!

This vehicle has not been abused or modified. It stands as an original, authentic AMC Javelin SST.
The original owner had this vehicle professionally repainted (original color). This vehicle has never been involved in a serious accident.
This vehicle is not perfect. Small amounts of rust appears behind the wheel wells. The original owner had this vehicle rust-proofed by Ziebart when it was new. Evidence of the rust-proofing material can be seen in the under carriage and engine compartment. Some paint scratches in the rear deck lid from backing it into the garage.New parts that I have replaced as the second owner: Front springs, rear leaf springs, radiator (4-core), headliner from NOS fabric, Alternator, stainless steel brake lines, master cylinder, brakes, rotors, and bearings. Brand new battery has been installed.
Issues with this vehicle: Factory air stopped working - no longer blowing cold. Oil pressure indicator gauge is not working. Original AMC AM/FM radio is not working. Clock is intermittent.
All original receipts from both owners, documentation, service and owner manuals, and window sticker is included.
Local Pick-up is required for this auction. This vehicle is in suburban Detroit. I will be showing this vehicle at the AMC Car Show at Greenmead in Livonia on Aug. 15. I will also have this vehicle for show at the Woodward Dream Cruise on Saturday, Aug. 14.

This vehicle is an excellent candidate for a full restoration. I do not possess the skill to take this car to the next level. It is a worthy candidate. An excellent specimen of the vintage AMC design and style.
