1969 AMC Javelin with the 3.8L 232ci Torque Command I-6 engine and automatic transmission, with a/c, new tires, and many new parts. Solid Texas car, no rust through anywhere on the car! It does have some surface rust and will need repainting and some basic light body work for door pecks and light dings. The only exception is at sometime in it's life the car had a front collision that buckled the upper and lower core support. Notice that the body lines are all straight. Someone prior to my owning the car created a replacement core support that works fine but is not correct. I watched two weeks ago an upper core support not sell on Ebay with a $50 opening bid. The floors, rockers, doors, trunk, and any other body panel you can name are all solid with only surface rust. The car has had the brake master cylinder replaced along with all of the wheels cylinders, brake lines, and rear brake shoes. The fuel pump is a combination unit with a vacuum pump to drive the wipers and that has been replaced. The car runs on a temporary fuel can while I am waiting for the original tank to be professionally cleaned.
It has had four brand new tires installed and overall the car is 99%+ complete. The heavy lifting has been done! Now it needs someone to finish the project in whatever color or pattern they want. Hard to find, much less a solid Texas car. Serious bidders please! A $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of the close of bidding. The vehicle does not leave until all funding has been completed. I will not prepay a shipper, the buyer must arrange his own shipping so no SCAMS PLEASE! I can accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express through my company. I do not like paypal and do not want the entire sale funded through paypal. Cashiers check, cash even though ebay says no, wire transfers are OK.
