All original, running and driving, 80k mile, 1971 Javelin SST 360!! 4spd with Hurst shifter. 3.54 twin grip rear. Raven Green Metallic with black vinyl interior. Non power disc brakes, power steering. Early 71' build date 12/70, 295hp/395 lb/ft torque. 4bbl carb. Has rot on drivers side fender through, and drivers side frame rail. Both rockers, and lower quarter drop offs. (see pics) Floors, and trunk are solid!! Never been apart, a true time capsule!!! Clutch feels great, grabs about half way. Engine does not smoke, or knock. No exhaust leaks. Currently has an Edelbrock 600cfm carb.on it. The original carburater will need to be rebuilt. Car runs cool, radiator has no visible leaks. The Hurst shifter feels tight, and the transmission shifts very smooth. It appears the rear main seal was leaking over the years, lots of oily grime caked on the motor. The brakes work, although they should be gone through. The leaf spring bands are gone on both sides so, the spring packs are seperating. New bands would fix this. All the lights wor, all interior lights work. Has some after market gauges installed by the original owner(oil temp, Amps, and Vacum) as well as a rear defrost and third brake light.The interior panels are very, very nice, rear seat is perfect, headliner is starting to sag but, not much. The carpet is faded in spots, the passenger seat has some seams split. the drivers seat is the worst of the interior. Has the early ash tray with the lid that flips up.
