1964 Rambler Classic 770H. Great solid and complete American Motors car with the 196 straight six, T-96 3 speed manual transmission connected to Borg Warner overdrive with the 'twin stick' center console configuration. Car runs and drives, was my daily driver earlier this year, 15 miles a day to and from work for 6 months. Car is currently registered California non-op, I have the pink slip in my possession and in my name.
This is a very solid car, the only rust I have found is a little area in the trunk due to weather stripping leaking. (Car is currently stored inside). Interior is complete but needs to be redone, has the original bucket seats that fold all the way back. Transmission rebuilt last year, overdrive works when manually shifted, electronic shift solenoid is not hooked up. Engine runs good, blows a little smoke when first started, but runs cool with good oil pressure.
I have tried to describe this car as best I can, but please ask questions if you have them, They didn't make a whole lot of these cars in 1964 so finding one complete 50 years later is a bonus. Camaros and Mustangs are cool, but why not drive something different! Thanks!
