1969 AMC SC/Rambler 1 of 1, 512 EVER BUILT!!!!!!
This is a very nice car with a, believed to be original, 66, 000 miles. I have owned this car since 2014 and have decided to downsize in preparation for future retirement. The previous owner had the car for over 20 years and he bought it with 54, 000 miles. I also have paper history for this car going back before the previous owner. The following is a description of this car to the best of my knowledge:
Interior
-No rips or tears in seats-Carpet replaced-Nice headliner-2 cracks in dash-Rogue door panels very nice-Steering wheel nice
Exterior
-Restored 25+ years ago and the paint still looks great, with the exception of a couple very small bubbles-Bumpers could use polishing-Always garaged
Engine and Drivetrain
-Always well maintained and adult owned by myself (I'm 60) and the previous owner (74)-Runs great!-Has mild cam-Engine (390 cid V8) was rebuilt during the restoration by a well known and reputable local shop called Mick's Speed Shop on 6/1/1987 (I have documentation)-Engine bay could use freshening up aesthetically-No expense spared in maintaining this car mechanically-New custom exhaust added to the headers, that were already installed, and included NOS Thrush mufflers-New carburetor -4-speed Hurst transmission shifts well, with no perceived issues-New Red-Top Optima battery
Tires and Wheels
-Brand-new radial redline tires-Wheels were blasted and re-sprayed blue-New trim rings
Front End
-New lower ball joints -New Radius Arm bushings-New Tie Rod assembly (complete, including hardware)-New Pitman Arm-New front brake calipers -New front brake pads-New custom brake hoses
