This car is originally from Texas and is rust free. I have looked it over carefully on a lift, and have found no filler or metal patching anywhere in the body or floor pans. The frame, trunk, and wheelwells are in similar pristine condition. The gorgeous red paint is glossy throughout, with a few very minor chips, scratches and dings.
The car runs and drives well. The trunnion bushings, tires, brakes, shocks, fuel pump, carburetor, and exhaust system have recently been replaced or rebuilt. It starts easily, idles quietly, and runs smoothly. It has excellent chrome, glass, upholstery, top, and carpets.
List of problems: Drivers door lock cylinder is missing, the heater blows air but does not produce heat, the fuel gauge is inop, the thin stainless trim on the drivers quarter panel is slightly wavy when sighted down the side of the car and the thin stainless trim on the right fender has a small dent in it, the steering feels a bit vague when driving but it tracks straight down the road, and the neutral start switch needs adjustment (driver must push slightly on the shift lever in order to crank the engine with the key). The wiper motor is vacuum operated and has not been hooked up after the fuel pump was replaced, so the wipers do not currently work.

I am very confident in this car, and encourage buyers to view and drive it in person prior to bidding if possible, or pay for a local inspection.
The odometer reads a little over 52, 330 and works, but I do not believe that this number is accurate.
