1963 Rambler Classic 5502-door
Time to sell another one of my pops classic cars. He is 75 years young and does not have the time or space for all these classics.
This car only has only has less then 46, 000 original miles & has been updated with a full drive train & suspension conversion.
This conversion was done 8k miles ago and is running all the drive train from a 1984 Chrysler.Slant 6, 3.7 engine, plenty of power and great mileage, auto trans, torsion bar front suspension (whole front clip was used) Disc front brakes, along with complete Chrysler rear end with leaf springs. Power Steering, Power Brakes, Later Steering Column, Aftermarket heater, Classic Gauges.
This Rambler was originally a V8 Classic and a chrysler V8 could be installed with not much difficulty.
This car runs and drives Excellent.
Seats were recovered, new carpets, headliner & door panels are original. New tires, Original Owners manual.
Seat belts front & rear, spare tire w/Jack
Original radio only works sometimes
Car was repainted in the factory color, Aegean Aqua Metallic. No rust under car or doors or rockers although a few bubbles in passenger rear fender edge (see pic)
Paint very nice, glass good, bumpers & trim nice and shiny
This car had been in the garage for over 20 years and has been back on the road for 8, 000 trouble free miles
