This is a very rare 1965 American Motor Corporation Rambler Classic...It is a 770 series that was garaged for over 35 years by a collector...is very low in miles and also includes its original license plates, dealer license cover that was driven off the lot and it’s 1965 sticker expiration tag! Everything on this car is original… Even the hubcaps are the original and are flawless. This Classic was born and raised in Southern California was never driven in the rain or in harsh elements.
The following was taken from Wikipedia: The 1965 Classic models were billed as the Sensible Spectaculars, with emphasis on their new styling, powerful engines, and their expanded comfort and sports-type options, in contrast to the previous economy car image.
This Rambler 770 series which received the 287 Hp 4.7 Liter engine which was an optional upgrade. The collector had both the engine and the transmission which is a 3 speed Automatic overdrive both rebuilt... This Classic was the top of the line model at its time.
The body is super straight and is rust free... the underside is clean and solid. All the glass around looks great… Paint presents well...which was recently done…It has a cool stance with its classic rims and brand new tires... doors close tight and windows roll down nice... Great ride on just redone shock suspension…Is also very reliable…Get's tons of looks and compliments everywhere we roll. This rambler has power and an awesome sound. Great for any enthusiast…classic collector… or anyone looking for a nice and unique Vintage Classic at an affordable price. I have seen these cars sell for $15-40k on classiccars.com. Also included is the tons of paperwork with work done over the years with original owners manual also including a California clear title. The car is located in Ventura California...
